The Hunt for Gollum is a fan film based on elements of J. R. R. Tolkien’s epic fantasy novel The Lord of the Rings. The film is a sidequel to the events of The Fellowship of the Ring, and is based on expository passages in the novel, but also on its appendices. The Hunt for Gollum debuted at the Sci-Fi-London film festival and on the Internet, free to view, on 3 May 2009.
Story:
The film is set during the timespan of The Fellowship of the Ring. It takes place seventeen years after Bilbo Baggins’ 111th birthday party and just prior to Frodo Baggins leaving the Shire (Middle-earth) for Rivendell . The wizard Gandalf fears that Gollum may reveal information about the One Ring to the Dark Lord Sauron, and sends the Ranger Aragorn on a quest to find him.
Well as a matter of fact, Rehman has done brilliant work. Apart from much appericiated and highly rated Jai Ho, there is another song included in sound track of Slumdog Millionaire that is also very high in notes and pleasant in listening. Below is the 2 min video of Ringa Ringa… Listen and Enjoy, but don’t forget to share it with others, Digg it, Stumble it or Tweet it!

For the people who actually like to listen just ENGLISH things. If you have heard the other version, you will be amazed how well AR Rehman worked with Pussycat Dolls to maintain the same effect and feeling in this song.
According to Wikipedia, The song was re-recorded in 2009 by The Pussycat Dolls with English lyrics. Produced in collaboration with Rahman, lead vocalist Nicole Scherzinger prefers to consider this version an interpretation of the original song rather than a remix.
“Jai Ho!” is the triumphant ending song of Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire. AR Rahman has long enjoyed success as a Bollywood composer in his native India, and now he’s getting crossover appeal. He’s gone from having a loyal following in India to receiving critical acclaim in America. It’s unexpected success for him, just like the hero Jamal in “Slumdog Millionaire.” His Lord of the Rings musical collaboration has some fans among the Tolkien geeks, but “Slumdog Millionaire” appeals to everyone.
“Jai Ho” was originally composed for the 2008 film Yuvvraaj, but was turned down by director Subhash Ghai who thought the song was not suitable for actor Zayed Khan to perform onscreen. After its inclusion in Slumdog Millionaire, it was later nominated for best song at the 2008 Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards, the 2008 Satellite Awards and at the 2008 Houston Film Critics Society Awards. In 2009, it won the Academy Award for Best Original Song, beating out WALL-E’s “Down to Earth” by Peter Gabriel, and “O… Saya”, also of Slumdog Millionaire and by A. R. Rahman.
In translation, the title means “Praise”, “Hail”, “Hallelujah”, “Victory”, or “Vive”. The lyrics are mostly in Hindi, interspersed with some Spanish lyrics. Rahman, who performed “Jai Ho” live on The Oprah Winfrey Show on February 23, 2009 with the rest of the original performers, was asked by Winfrey what the song title means. A.R. Rahman then stated “Jai Ho” means “May Victory be Yours”. It is the highest charting Hindi language song in the history of iTunes.
